Numeracy and number skills are one of the most important things the girls need to learn at the moment, so I try to do some every day. Today we did lots and lots, but in lots of different ways! Here are some videos: while we were having a break and enjoying the garden in the sun, we practised counting backwards, all as a game, the girls don't even notice they are learning- definitely the best way to study anything! Afterwards, they wanted to do more 'maths' so Judit found her multiplication book and we practisedd the ten times table. The times tables are something which need to be learnt, however boring it seems. The girls don't understand multiplication yet, but I don't think that is important, they enjoyed writing them out and reading them to me!!
